Dr. Pablo Alarcon profile

Pablo Alarcon , a veterinarian by profession and a Research Fellow in Food Systems at the Royal Veterinary College. Pablo is currently as a post-doctoral research fellow/ILRI visiting scientist working with ILRI Urban Zoonosis Project. His research work focuses on investigating the livestock value chains operating in Nairobi city to understand food safety and zoonosis risks practices.  Pablo holds a bachelors in Veterinary Medicine (2005) from University of Cordoba, Spain, and an MSc  in Veterinary Epidemiology from the Royal Veterinary College (London, UK). He has previously worked at the  Royal Veterinary College (London, UK) as a research assistant, then as a PhD fellow (completed in 2012)
