Yukiko Nakamura

Bio
Yukiko Nakamura is currently a final year veterinary student from Japan, and for the past few years she has been doing research on Lawsonia intracellularis infection, which is a leading cause of a wasting disease in pigs and horses throughout the world. She is currently visiting ILRI using the “Tobitate! Young Ambassador Japan” scholarship founded by the Japanese ministry, and participating in the wildlife/livestock sampling for the 99 households under the Urban Zoo Project.
