Melanie Kirshenbaum Profile

Melanie Kirshenbaum is a third year VMD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine with a BA in economics and international relations from Cornell University. Her activities alongside veterinary training have focused on global food, economic, and health security. Through a Food Animal Fellows grant, she joins the Urban Zoo team in investigating zoonotic disease transmission among humans, livestock, and wildlife across socio-economic groups in Nairobi.
