Bio
I am doing an MSc in Infectious Disease Biology at Uppsala University, Sweden. I am working towards completing my Masters thesis in collaboration with the Zoonotic and Emerging Diseases group, at their base in Nairobi, at the International Livestock Research Institute. My main academic interests are zoonoses and neglected tropical diseases.
My Masters project involves describing the spatial epidemiology of brucellosis, and quantifying the burden of this zoonotic disease in humans in Kenya, using data from the National Health Information System.
