Lucas Matemba was a joint PhD student (with S.C,. Welburn, CID and S. Cleaveland, Glasogw) until 2009 studying the epidemiology of sleeping sickness in Tanzania. He is now at the National Institute for Medical Research, Tabora, Tanzania.
