Bio
Originally from the Seattle area in the USA, she went to the UK to study infectious disease control at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (MSc Control of Infectious Diseases, 2008-09). She holds a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Washington and has five years of experience as a research assistant in molecular biology laboratories as well as conducting systematic literature reviews.
She worked in the Zoonotic and Emerging Diseases group on a project funded by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, undertaking data gathering and synthesis work on several of the infectious diseases being considered as part of that project.
