Lorren Alumasa profile

Alumasa Lorren holds a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery. She is a Research Clinical Officer in the urban zoo project.

Currently, she is involved in the ‘Neurocysticercosis and Epilepsy study’ component of the project which seeks to identify cases of Epilepsy caused by Neurocysticercosis in Western Kenya. She has also been involved in the ‘case control study’ component of the project which explored impacts contact with livestock and livestock products has on diarrhea emergence among children under the age of 5 in two informal settlements in Nairobi, Kenya. Lorren also worked with the People Animals and their Zoonoses (PAZ) project.

She is also currently pursuing her MPH at the University of Liverpool.
